MarWin Farm

We have been really busy putting together a winter bird house so we can get more birds year-round for our FarmShare members and some select restaurants.

 

Now in our fifth year, the 2012 FarmShare program is a little more flexible but just as fresh and delicious.

 

Here are the highlights ..

 

-- Birds* will be available all year long for delivery on the first and third Friday of each month (or another day of the week if it works out with our wholesale deliveries) .  The product line will vary as available but will always include Chicken and Duck, and starting in March, Quail and Rabbit.  Products will be available year round every week.  We will keep FarmShare members posted as to availability and we will have guinea, partridge and more for the summer season as well as the core Chicken - Duck -  Rabbit -  Quail.   Holiday Turkeys and Geese will remain special orders as they have in the past. 

 

--  Rather than have a pre defined schedule, FarmShare members simply order in advance via email (we will remind you) and your order will be delivered to your door the following delivery week.

 

--  FarmShare members will get first shot at all inventory, on a first ordered first served basis.  We are growing a lot more product this year so we hope to have plenty of birds,  but if you place a standing order that goes out 6 weeks or more then we can guarantee availability. (predator and acts of God exclusion applies).   When ordering in advance you can order “chicken plus” or “2 chicken plus” and you will get a chicken and whatever tasty addition is available that week .. duck ... guinea ... etc.  or you can be specific as to what you want.

 

--  FarmShare members will put $250.00 on account and we will then work down that amount as product is delivered.  When the account gets down toward zero you simply put more money on account in any increment  ( we just can’t run accounts receivables).  All product is priced by the lb. and you will get a monthly accounting. 

 

Pricing is the same as last year and subject to change as variables costs change.  Chicken $4.75/lb .. Duck $6.50/lb .. Guinea  $7.50/lb .. Rabbit $6.50/lb

 

Delivery charge will be 7$ per delivery and a minimum order of $100 will apply if you live more than 25 miles from the farm.
